In past editions the city route has taken in Avenida San Martín, Arístides Villanueva, Boulogne Sur Mer and streets of Barrio Bombal before returning to the park. On the 21 km, drinks are at km 5, 10, 15 and 19 and at the finish, and the time limit is 2 hours 40 minutes, with a sweep vehicle closing the course.

- 10K, Half marathon
- Weather on race day
- Late March in Mendoza usually brings highs around 25 to 26 °C and lows near 15 °C, so the 8:00 start is mild and pleasant. Skies are mostly clear, winds are light and muggy days are rare, but the air is dry and the sun gets strong as the morning goes on. Rain is unlikely, at roughly one day in ten. Wear sunscreen and a cap and drink at every station.
What to train for
The 2:40 limit means roughly 7:35 per km, so make sure your long runs of 16 to 19 km feel steady at that pace or quicker.
Use the kilometre markers on race day to stay even, and practise this in training with tempo runs of 5 to 8 km at goal pace.
Drinks come roughly every 5 km, so train with the same rhythm and take a sip at each one. Late March can still be warm in Mendoza, so do a few runs mid morning to get used to the sun.
