The 2027 edition starts on Avenida Constantino Nery in front of the Arena da Amazônia, with the half marathon and 5 km on Saturday 27 March and the marathon and 10 km on Easter Sunday, 28 March. Manaus is not flat: the 2026 reference routes on Strava show roughly 480 m of climbing over the marathon, about 330 m for the half and about 200 m for the 10 km. Every race starts before dawn, at 4:00 for the 21 and 42 km and 4:30 for the 5 and 10 km, with water every 2.5 to 3 km and cold-water sponges on the marathon. The marathon has a 6-hour limit with cut-off points at km 13.3, 22.7, 32.3 and 35.9, set at 8:32 per km.

- Marathon, Half marathon, 10K, 5K
- Field
- About 7,000 runners took part in the 2022 edition
- Weather on race day
- Late March is the rainy season in Manaus, and before dawn it is usually already 23–25 °C with humidity above 90%, climbing towards 30 °C after sunrise. Showers are common and can cool things briefly, but the humidity stays high. Start conservatively, drink at every station and use the sponges to keep your temperature down.
What to train for
Heat, humidity and repeated climbs are the challenge, so do your key sessions early in the morning and build rolling routes into your long runs.
Add a weekly hill session of 8 to 10 x 60 to 90 seconds uphill at strong effort, and practice relaxed downhill running so your legs arrive fresh for the last 10 km.
Rehearse a pre-dawn routine, because a 4:00 start means waking around 2:00 to 2:30. If you take on a two-day challenge such as 21 + 42 km, include back-to-back long runs on weekends in the final weeks.
